For some fields of study, an entrance examination or a performance test (e.g. Music) is required. The application deadlines for these fields of study are January 15th or July 15th for the summer and winter semester respectively (the application must have been delivered to the university by these dates).Go to http://www.uni-augsburg.de/einrichtungen/studentenkanzlei/hochschulzugang/ to find out more details about the application process for your field of study.

First year students are allowed to begin their studies exclusively in the winter semester. The application form is available from the Student Affairs Office as of mid April each year.
You can apply between Mai 2nd and June 15th each year. You can download the application form from the Internet:
