Service - Package for foreign students studying in Augsburg Application   With our "service - package" for foreign students we want to provide some practical help for new arriving students in order to support a succesful start at Augsburg University and the Fachhochschule Augsburg. Attention: "Deutschprüfung" already absolved! In this package the following items are included: a fully-equipped (furniture) one-room-flat with cooking place and bathroom (shower and toilet) in two of our student-dormitories [package 1= dormitory "Göggingen", package 2 =dormitory "Lechbrücke" ] for a 6 month period guidance concerning juridical questions as well as psychotherapeutical consultance in case of personal problems the possibility of participating in the dormitory-tutor-programm guidance and support from our foreign-students-tutor-programm, which we established to cope with the special needs of foreign students the useful information brochure "Studieren in Augsburg und Kempten" with all relevant adresses and informations and "Studium in Augsburg" a special guide for foreign students if desired (€ 60,-- extra-payment): we are able to lend you blanket/pillow and sheets if desired (€ 75,-- extra-payment ):permanent access to Internet per 6 months/semester if desired (€ 50,-- extra-payment per month): we offer lunch-time meals in the universities' mensas during weekdays (monday-friday) if desired: we can help you to get a special health insurance for students (all students studying in Germany need an insurance) Costs regarding the "Service - package I" - wintersemester 2010/11 Service-package oct. 2010- march 2011 = 1002,00 € deposit (returnable security) included* = 190,00 € total = 1.192,00 €   Costs regarding the "Service - package II" - wintersemester 2010/11 Service-package oct. 2010- march 2011 = 1.284,00 € deposit (returnable security) included* = 230,00 € total = 1.514,00 € *if the rooms are in a good condition (no damages) the deposit will be reimbursed. Conditions of our "Service-package" The Service-package can only be provided for foreign students who are enrolling for their first time at a German university (not for students without enrollment) and is only valid for the summersemester 2010. The "Deutschprüfung" has to be absolved! For the following semester a new service-package is going to be presented including further offers. All in all this service can be obtained only twice. In case of receiving more applications than the number of existing places, the selection will be based on a lottery-like system - by hazard Your application is accepted after: (1) You have received a confirmation by the Studentenwerk and (2) your payment to the Studentenwerk Augsburg's bank-account (bank: Stadtsparkasse Augsburg, BIC-SWIFT-Code: AUGSDE77, banknumber: 720 500 00, accountnumber:255 190) has been done. These two points have to be fulfilled before you have the claim to obtain a Servicepackage. Term for filing applications for the upcoming summersemester is august, 30th, 2010!
